I wanted to take a minute to tell my gratitude to everyone that has used my photos from Unsplash. Your appreciation and the joy it brings me to see my work being used is truly incredible.

1-What happened to me?

Today, I want to share my story with you. Over the past six months, I have faced some financial and family challenges that have deeply impacted my life. As a freelancer, these difficulties have taken a toll on my photography career (I do not photograph for the money part of me is a designer but photography and photos are necessary to me) and I had to make some tough decisions along the way. Unfortunately, I had to sell my camera, and even make sacrifices in my daily life. It hasn't been an easy journey, and my mental health has suffered as a result.

To overcome these challenges, I've decided to run a donation crowdfunding campaign with my viewers.

2-Unsplash vs Photographers

You may know that Unsplash is an amazing platform for sharing photos with millions of views and thousands of downloads. However, it's disheartening that, despite the immense exposure, I haven't earned a single dollar from the platform. Even the donation button, although well-intentioned, doesn't provide substantial support for photographers like me (Zero).

3-My plans

That's why I've taken matters into my own hands. I've set up a Gumroad page where you can support my work and help me overcome these challenging times. (It's not begging, I have no choice)

But it's not just a donation I will answer all the donations with photos in the future when I reach my goals! (like crowdfunding)
